Welcome to ASP.net Web Application Deployment Tools Project The aim of this project is to provide some much need support when deploying applications onto remote machines - either onto shared hosting under medium trust or a web server farm on a separate network from the build machine.
The tools I plan to include are:
- Deployment package for use in MSI files
- Visual Studio Add-in Deployment for shared hosting
- SQL Server Migration from development to production scripting of both data and changes
- Custom membership provider to enable easier deployment.
Over the course of the project I except some of these not to be required and new requirements to take there place.
