I am using beagleboard Rev C3 and BSP from this community. I have ms vs2005 and winCE 6.0.

I am trying to boot nk.bin came along with the source code. Its not booting up.

I am using MLO and ebootsd.nbo from Texas, nk.bin file from beagle community.

1. Will it work? Do I need some changes? Please guide me this.

2. Can I make MLO and Ebootsd files from source code from this community?

3. I followed the step mentioned in this discussion chain, copying nk.bin from uboot and using go command to start. But it failed to start. Hangup!.

Please help me.

Thanks

address in ebootnand.bib is 0xA1B50000 and length is 0x20000.so when i am trying other address it is able to copy but 0xA1B50000 is not able to copy.

I have tried using

mmcinit

fatload mmc 0 0xA1B50000 EBOOTNAND.nb0

but that is also not working so it means that 0xA1B50000 address is not valid.

So same thing i have tried for EBOOTRAM.nb0 as address was 0x87000000 for it.Now point is that it is able to copy it to 0x87000000 but when i am doing

go 87000000

it is saying ## Starting application at 0x87000000 .... and remains there any idea what could be the problem??

There are legal implications and other requirements that you need to investigate before using their software. Post to the TI forum or contact BSquare. The starter BSP posted here is a clean version based off the Microsoft OMAP2420 BSP distributed as part of Platform Builder and is covered under the same licensing arrangements.

Keep in mind that XLDR will copy EBOOT from Flash, so EBOOT is already fixed up to execute from RAM.

Transfer EBOOTNAND.nb0 using UBOOT and Serial port. I used HyperTerminal.

OMAP3 beagleboard.org # loadb
## Ready for binary (kermit) download to 0x80000000 at 115200 bps...
## Start Addr = 0x80000000

<move image to where it is fixed up to run - see ebootnand.bib>
OMAP3 beagleboard.org # cp 80000000 87e00000 40000

<jump into image>
