NEW POST: Anything for non-Moderator MVPs?

Several of the features of this tool seem applicable to MVPs who are not moderators. For instance, I need a bookmarking feature to mark posts I need to get back to. Any chance of offering a subset of these features to us?

My forum explorer won't open now, it displayes (application failed to properly initialize (error 0x0000135). click to terminate the application. I has been working fine before. Possible bug?

Hi, I would like to suggest an options menu inside the forum-explorer console. This would give the ability to create desktop shortcuts, add to quick launch or system trey, Change the fronts (colors, or styles, excedra. User friendly or more user interface.

Among all forums we usually have a subset inside our expertise that we check more often than other forums. From all MSDN forums (and others) we should be able select forums as favourites. For these favourites we should be able to pull aggregated list of unanswered questions, my thread in the favourites and any other search.

When Signing into the forums explorer it is also neccessary to sign into the forums also....there should be a single sign-on capability so that wen I sign into the forums explorer it signs me into the forum also! Comments: ** Comment from web user: AndreasJohansson **

We could add functionality to attach a passport to the forum login. It would be stored locally using the ProtectedData class to encrypt it.

I've let my moderator duties fall to the wayside so that I can do my job and stay employed. (HUGE project going on at the office, I could tell you about it but then I'd have to kill you.) I logged into the project for the first time in weeks, and find an incredible amount has been done in my absence. Great job guys!

CREATED TASK: Have the MSN Search DLL use the same methods as the Navigation pane does to get lists of forums

The MSN Search DLL uses a static list of sites and forums to populate its comboboxes. The navigation pane dynamically looks up its list from the forum site itself (for both MSDN and TechNet sites.) To make it so the MSN Search DLL's list of forums doesn't get hopelessly out of date, it should use a similar method to what the navigation panel is using to come up with the list of forums.
