Should it be
- long running requests?
- CPU spiking request?
...

Where do you host this web application?
You have 2 options

Run inside IIS7 as a separate website (please run it inside a separate application pool)
Run inside Hostable Webcore Custom Service I wrote a while back. More details here Hostable Webcore Service

So how does it look like?

Hostable Web Core (known as HWC) is a new concept in IIS7 to host a website/webservice inside your own process. In short a smaller hosted version of IIS (an IIS7 express edition?).

Let's see limitations of HWC (Calling it limitation is wrong so let's say it's by design)

Only one application pool
Only one website/webservice
Separate configuration file (webcoreservice.exe.config in this case)
No health monitoring like available for IIS7 application pools
Require IIS7 to be installed (works on both Vista and Windows 2008)

Mobile Admin UI is an ASP.NET web application developed using LINQ with Microsoft.Web.Administration managed API
The configuration file called webcoreservice.exe.config contains all the configuration for hosting this website inside the provided windows service.
