Using my nasty page at https://sharpsts.com/demos/informationCardToken.aspx the activation process appears to be broken if the IC object is built dynamically.

The selector does not appear when get token is pressed. Static object tags however work fine.

Sorry. After the release of 1.0.14 I discovered that this is true.
I will fix it soon (this weekend). The openinfocard selector is fixed already.
Maybe I should integrate both projects into one build system...

Please support XRD(S) on sharpsts.com soon. This way the plugin-warning-problem is solved too.

The current wording of the status bar icon when clicked says a site does not support information cards. Even if you've just logged into the site using a card.

I'm not sure the icon is that useful for pages lacking the object tag; it would be millions upon millions of pages, from every google search, through wikipedia, through your moms blog about her cats etc.

Even when you're on an IC supporting page, such as https://www.signon.com/ clicking on the icon still tells you the site does not support information cards.

It's a nice graphic though :)

I must admit that I hope that sites like signon.com will add xrds to the site.
I am currently not supporting all xrd(s) discovery methods but I think that the selector should support more methods.
The LINK in the page makes most sense if the site needs different xrds on different pages, but if there is only one xrds for the whole site then it should be discovered by the selector too.
I hope that one major site steps forward with xrds support for Information Cards, openid, whatever. I will then adapt the selector to support this.
And I hope that "we all" will agree on a standard soon. Please see the discussion on my blog ignisvulpis.blogspot.com and in the OASIS XRD TC and the Concordia interop.

We just installed an EV cert with a chained root from Comodo.

Launching CardSpace from FF now gives a strange error. (screenshots and event-log attached)

The error occurs using FF:
2.0.0.14
2.0.0.16
3.0.1

Identity Selector: 1.0.12

And both .NET 3.0 and 3.5 has been tried.

IE continues to launch CardSpace correctly as it did with our previous non-EV cert.

I have also attached our cert and ca-bundle we're using.

this id selector currently does not work at net-safe.info/login because currently (1.0.14 and FF 3.0.3) the selector does not understand Microsoft's javascript kungfu from informationcards.src.js (value getters and form.submit do not work.).

Please detect Information Card support (using the Microsoft html kit for Information Cards) but then insert the form and the object and do not submit it using javascript.

Every page load, regardless of the presence of a card object tag or not gives the error

IdentitySelector Error:onContentLoaded: This page contains information card objects, but the information card selector was unable to fully process the page.

This issue is fixed with release version 1.0.14 of this Firefox extension.
Mozilla chose to remove the two-argument eval javascript function that is needed by this extension.

This fixes the issues introduced by the release of Firefox 3.0.2. Mozilla chose to remove the two-argument eval javascript function which was needed by this Firefox extension.
This version contains a workaround.

Hi, I have IdentitySelector Selector 1.0.12 plugin (addon) installed under FireFox 3.0.3, under Win XP-Pro-SP2. Soon after I upgraded to Firefox 3x from 2.x, (probably when Firefox was automatically updated to version 3.0.2 ), I get this very annoying and persistent Error message:
"IdentitySelector Error:onContentLoaded: This page contains information card objects, but the information card selector was unable to fully process the page.". Not only does this error-popup message appear on every web-page, but it becomes increasingly difficult to remove the error-popup. (Pressing the OK button does not work, and you have to press the Close-Window (X) button in the top-right corner more han once. I will probably UNinstall the Identity Select Plugin for now, since no one seems to have any other solution. But,,, I wonder what function is being disabled in Firefox when I go to certain websites that actually use information-card objects?
Could anyone throw any suggestions out?

I have the same problem. This is a huge nuisance, as I keep getting error popups in all the pages.

I got the same error using Firefox 3.0.3. I started getting this error after upgrading to Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.

We just upgraded www.net-safe.info to Comodo's EV Auto-enhancer cross-signed-certificate-chain:

If I click on a link in FireFox 3, then quickly hit back before the page has fully loaded the plugin throws the following message box;
