Project Description
A program for that helps children learn to use a keyboard.
Project Details
KeyedIn is a WPF application that allows parents to select or create lists of words that their children can then learn to enter on the keyboard. The built in lists contain simple common words. Parents are encouraged to create their own word lists using the names of their children, pets, and other things their children enjoy. Once a parent has selected or created a word list they can watch their children key in the word. The active letter the child needs to key in gently animates until the correct key is pressed. If the wrong key is pressed that letter is briefly displayed and then fades away back to the original letter. Once a word is finished a small rewarding animation is run and the next word in the list is displayed. Once the child reaches the end of a list they can choose another list or repeat the same list.
