Predefined Search for MOSS2007

Created Issue: PredefinedList

Do we have to create a list called Predefined list ? As I look through the code, I realize that it is trying to referencing some list called Predefined list. Also, the instructions that have been put up, support favorite search.

Any help will be appreciated.

I tried to install into a Search Server 2008 environment. The solution is successfully deployed and I can start the feature on the portal site.
But when I add the web part, I get an error

Unable to add selected web part(s).
Predefined Search: An error has occurred.

NEW POST: It shows nothing

After putting the predefined search web part in the search result page, it shows nothing. Or, is it a way to save the query as one's favorites?

CREATED ISSUE: Make the control work with medium trust level

Maybe the webpart can be registered as safe, so we don’t have to set the trust level to full?
This would require us to unpack the wsp file. The resulting files are:

manifest.xml
Predefined Search.webpart
PredefinedSearch.dll

To install the dll to assembly it is required to be strongly named. This can be fixed by the strongname utility, which is part of the .NET System Developer Kit (SDK). If you don’t have that, you can download it from Microsoft. Open a command prompt, go to the file directory containing the files listed above and type:
sn –k PredefinedSearch.snk
This results in a new file named PredefinedSearch.snk. This must be linked into the C# source file and recompiled. I don't have the compiler set up, so maybe someone can help with this?

Project Description
