Use custom methods to query based on non-key fields.

○ Choose something that is not a foreign key
* The frame work will build something for that
○ Do it by customer name … its not a foreign key
○ Data Bind

Currenty the code is just shown; not implemented. Code the exmaples shown currently so the users can compile and run the examples. Use dynamic SQL and databinding for the examples.

The SqlHelper stuff should be in the business layer ... this is considered a NuSoft Framework best practice.

Note: SqlHelper will be set to internal in the Framework 3.0 release.

CREATED TASK: Examples Formatting

Create a master page that all example pages will use.
Format the examples so they mimick the ASP.NET SDK examples @ http://quickstarts.asp.net/QuickStartv20/aspnet/Default.aspx. Model the ASP.NET SDK site. View source would be nice … but not needed right now

NEW POST: A Question of Depth

We are starting to add LINQ samples to our project, thus showing that the NuSoft Framework can be used with LINQ in much the same manner as DLINQ is used. The question now becomes is how deep do we wish to go? Do we simply want to show simple examples of the framework in use with little to no explanation? Or do we want to provide an understanding to the user of what is happening exactly and show in depth examples such as joining of collections is memory?

The initial examples have been created with more to be added. The question for how much depth should we provide in these examples. Are these examples intended as a learning tool for LINQ and as such should we explain various concepts involved that allow LINQ to function, or should these be "here is a way to do something, go figure out what is happening" type examples?

Also suggestions for what you would like to see are always accepted :)

Use a join example. Combines multiple business objects and gives you a single entity.

Use RRI Pattern

Allows you to get a count of all orders without loading entities to get a count.
