Capabilities

• Upload files of any type you have codec's for on your server
• Active clean up leaving no duplicates on your server
• The user can upload a .asx file and all you will ever see is a .wmv of the same name
• No change in user interface everything about the UI of the podcasting system stays the same

Timeline

BETA 3 RELEASED

• actual Features
• Use Expression Express
• Files re-encoded into 3 types one for the player, one for the zune, and one for smartphones
• Smartphone and zune encoding will be asynchronous (the user will only have to wait for one re-encoding to finish)
• Lower CPU usage
• More file types
• Fix minor corruption in uploaded files
• Status bar for re-encoding (not done yet)

• deleting podcast deletes all associated files
• Use expression for thumbnail and duration calculation
