Rawrs: there are no active devs for the rogue module. Making a 1/5 review isn't going to change that.

STILL no rogue release. Christ, how long does it take? DK is out already. What are the .Rogue devs doing?

Any chance of getting it easier to auto-create a list of best gear? So far I never managed to do it or get even close to it. I must be stupid
P.S. Please add Earthen Leg Armor on leg enchants :)
Cheers

The best development team i've seen in 3rd party WoW programming. I would love to see a little more data on where items drop(less unknowns), but dual thredding was the best thing to happen to Rawr optimizing the windows queue system. If programming is needed for any class let me know. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love this tool. Gemming could be improved too. It has helped me save tons of time and it's fun to use. Everyone who relies on it should help contribute to it in some way. I'm not a techie so you guys will get my coffee and doughnut money for today. :)

just the talent builds alone were worth it.

its good but theres no glyph of arcane missiles. I would think that 25% crit for arcane mages would be importent. but its cool

I still do a great deal of calculating and experimenting myself. Rawr has minimized the time spent by a great deal. I would like PTR versions and some prot paladin fixes for it to be perfect for me.

Fair tool with good mage support.
But:
1) too slow.
2) why .NET?
3) the source code is a royal mess.
4) UI is too messy.
5) gemming needs improvements
6) so do filtering
Please give it out with un-gemmed items, and with wotlk-only item db.
my two cents.

Overall a great theorycrafting tool, however lacking in a few spots.
- Editing items (especially using the filter) can be slow & painful.
- Please allow an option to exclude epic gems. I don't care if HelmA is better than my current helm when it has (unattainable) epic gems in it's slots.

Missing a few recently added items. After using this application once you will come back again and again. Brilliant!

Great tool. Wish I had stumbled across this a long time ago, it would have saved me countless hours browsing all the theorycraft sites and all the wowarmory items. It's hands down the best complilation of the info that's out there, not to mention the great GUI, easy charts, and the coding behind the scene.

Its a tool, not a guide to dumming down gear selection. It may not be perfect but is funtional for evaluating upgrades for most classes. Sure it could be better but hell its free and they take an active roll in making it better all the time.

The application is awesome !!!
But the commitment of Warlock team seems a lil bit messy.. :(
Kind regards,
John,
// Answering to AstrotSD, this is the 1st time I try to use the program, and I had no chance to test it at all, but the apearance and GUI seems really good. Can't give 5 untill fully tested. Besides that I said on 1st post, Program is Awesome, guess you missed it. / kind regards /John

>>REVIEWS ARE NOT THE PLACE FOR BUG REPORTS OR QUESTIONS OR ISSUES<<
johnny_um: Quite the contrary; the current Warlock team is progressing great, unlike the previous ones.
Cainnech21: Read the readme.
kain81073: That error means there's a problem with your system, not Rawr. You should be using the latest release, anyway, not building the codebase, unless you know what you're doing.
wisk: Grats?

Every time I attempt to run this I get a generic error that says "Rawr has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". I have installed C# express and attempted to "Build" the latest source code, but it is riddled with errors as well and will not create an executable. Rating, of course, - 0.

This program is amazingly accurate for calculating the mechanics behind many classes in WoW. It's in heavy development constantly, and the devs are very active in getting feedback to the community and getting updates out as soon as WoW releases patches. This app and it's members are amazing, i love it, I'd give it a higher score but 5 is the max.

Only problem I noticed in 2.1.8 was the 4t6 feral druid set bonus was broken, and still is in 2.1.9. The buff page no longer checks the 4pc set bonus and as such, item values aren't calculated right when wearing 4 pieces.

I really cant rate this Release with much accuracy at the moment. Simply because the DK module is now causing Rawr to crash. Check Discussions area to see Error Message Text. http://www.codeplex.com/Rawr/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=45732
