Broken, install instructions don't work. Out of date with the current release of IronPython. Agreed with below who said no matter how much you love VS this product isn't worth it.

Has this project been abandoned? Out-of-date installation instructions (hint, use VS2008 shell SP1, and don't forget to install the redistributable binaries after installing the pack.), if you use pre-SP1, you will find that the UI won't display any XAML forms, and regardless of this, it looks like there are numerous glitches and issues - presumably because .NET has moved forward significantly.

With the advent of IronPython 2.6 just around the corner, I'd recommend that you do NOT use IronPython studio for IronPython develoment. Even if your fingers are welded to Visual Studio keystrokes, the time you'll spend learning Eclipse is less than the time you'll waste trying to fix the screwups that Studio puts in your code. And debugging is broken. Look in the discussion for more details.

It would be great if it works, but it does not. "Can not find one or more installed components. Please reinstall IronPython". I used both packages 'isolated' and 'isolated SP1'. No luck...

Hello,
I have constantly an error with Integrated version of the IronPython Studio: invalid uri, the format of the uri could not be determined when I try to create a new project.
The same thing like here http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsx/thread/1c453601-5cff-4dfc-b814-4b73567fcbb1
I am on Vista Buisiness 32 with VS 2008 pro.
On my XP SP3 it runs well...
Any ideas?

Very good IDE. I also hope to see it continue with IPY 2.0 support.

thanks very much

Despite that it currently does not support IP2 a very good approach for a IronPython IDE. It would be highly appreciated if the development would be continued, possibly even by Mircrosoft
