Note: I actually started the project a few years ago with the Composite Application Block, after a few months of studying (beating my head against the wall) I understood it and was ready to start coding when the
Smart Client Software Factory came to my attention. I then spent a few months learning, understanding and resolving a major bug with it (views would not dispose) and was ready to start plugging it in when
PRISM emerged. The results of this project represent my efforts to solve some main problems with developing an enterprise application (connecting to data) with PRISM such as having a single configuration file among many projects (which was solved).
