I didn't get memberlogin.aspx file from source tab.
where can i get memberlogin.aspx file?.
can anyone provide the link or aspx file to download?.

I tried your install without success. I have some questions about the install document...

1) Find the entry <trust level=”WSS_Minimal” originalURL=”” /> and change the trust level to Full so the line reads <trust level="Full" originUrl="" />

Which WSS_Minimul are you referring to?

4) When I set this in the web.config file for the central admin does this mean I can only have one site collection that can uses a list provider? Can I add another section in <providers> for another collection that uses its own SiteURL?
When I set it for the web application web.config file can more than one web app use the same SiteURL? Can more than one site collection use the same SiteURL?

What is the scope of these tags with respect to the web app and CA?

Hi I posted this as a reply but though it might need its own discussion, I wasnt sure if some one could point me in the right direction buti cant seem to find the membershiplogin.aspx patch that was mentioned in previous discussions. It was said to go to the source tab but unfortunately it is not there, is there any way i can get this as this is neccessary for the solution to work, hope some can help thanks

It's a wonderful morning for me!
I have beat the problem updated upstairs .
The soluting action is ,after the activation the List Membershp Provider Features ,
I make the administrator's "IsApproved" field checked,this means the user is approved to login .

However,another fash-pig appeared,I can not add any user although I have input all fields.

I'm sorry I've been silent for so long. I'm about to release an update to the functionality here which will take the code past alpha stages into something that is actually working in production. I will include samples of the login pages to prevent some of the problems discussed here.

Update:
I have soluted the mastername problem by keeping the mastername "admin@domain.local" and password"Pr3P@r1S".

But still get stuck with the login action.
There is no memberlogin.aspx page for download ,so I skip the default login page changing step,
I login in the default login page sharepoint provided ,but after inputing the mastername "admin@domain.local" and password"Pr3P@r1S",
the screen gleamed and back to the default login page.The login is failed.

What can I do next?
Any advices are welcome, i really want to make this work !

I am installing the provider step by step,but when I run into
"Central Administration configuration"
--> "10"
-->"b. Set the primary site collection administrator to the master user defined in the web.config."
my sharepoint prompted that "No exact match was found."

Is anybody get the same problem?
And anybody can bring some advice to me ?

I did step by step as in guide. downloaded a pach.
Created in my wesite folder "membership" and pasted memberlogin.aspx
But it still doesint work.
I think some configuration on memberlogin.aspx is needed. like set DestinationPageUrl and MembershipProvider
so I did
MembershipProvider="CLMembership"
DestinationPageUrl="/default.aspx"

but still nothing

Remember, you have to turn the features on at the Site Collection level AND at the site level.... Had the same problem that you did, but as soon as I turned them on at the site level, everything was created (except the login aspx page which was downloaded from this site separately).

Had the same issue myself. I just copied the document to my desktop and opened it with MS Word. Worked like a charm. Must be some "gotcha" in the file that stops viewer from working...

Hi, great idea ...... i hope i can get it work.

I´ve done everything step by step as you write it in the instructions and double checked everything, but i get a strange message if i try to login with any user i created in the Site Member List:

The ValidateUser function has thrown the following error One or more field types are not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete these fields.

Only if i login with the admin@domain.local everything works fine, but it seems that this user is hardcoded, because if i try to change the password i can still login with the old but if i try to login with the new one i get the same error .

Please Help

NM - I got it going, I needed to fix my webconfig, I did not have the correct list specified as the "source" for the member list. beyond that, I just copied the login page provided under the layouts folder and pathed to it in the web.config and it is good to go. be sure to mark your users as active or they wont work. i did not have any luck with the master user settings in web.config either - i just left everything as windows auth went in and setup a couple users in the list then flipped it back to forms auth. still cant seem to make sense of the roles piece.
