Nice web parts; installed without a problem. A couple quick questions: 1.) the results do not return thesaurus results (i.e. results generated because of a match in the thesaurus file) any plans to support these? 2.) I copied the xslt from the core results web part and pasted it in the xsl parameter for the results, but the display didn't change - am I doing something wrong? 3.) this is just picking, but deploying the web parts so they appear in the search category and naming the webparts as 'Wildcard Search Box' or something similar would be a nice polish (I know this is a 'kick the tires' version, just mentioning in case it wasn't on the radar)

Thanks for all the work put into this.

Oh, one last one. I just installed the Faceted Search web part (http://www.codeplex.com/FacetedSearch) which allows for some useful search refinements, but it doesn't talk to the wildcard search - might there be an easy way to do this?

Don't you have even one hint to what kind of error you are getting?

I also had some errors in the beginning. But I found out that the trust level wasn't good. Changed it and it worked.

wel.....worked......I get no response when i submit a search. It looks like the screen refreshes without adding something new to the screen.

Hi!
I have depoyed your solution on MOSS 2007.

I have added a "Custom Search Web part" and a "Custom XML View Web Part" and have connected these.

When I search I get an error page with no information. I have changed the managed properties to path, title to minimize the fetching. But this dosen't work either.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello,

I added the webpart using stsadm with the cab file and got an ok. When trying to search I get the following message:

"File Not Found. Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your site administrator.
Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services. "

Microsoft.Office.Server.dll and Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.dll are stored under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\ISAPI.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

The initial DEBUG release is available if you choose not to download and build the project yourself.

This is the default release. This release does not include a solution file so deployment must be done using STSADM to deploy and change the web.config file.

Next release the plans are to package this into a solution file and provide digital signatures. In the short term the initial release will be provided to initially "kick the tires" and provide feedback for enhancements.

This build is a Debug build which provides a sample table of returns as well as the rendering page. The release build will not show this debugging result table.
