is there a hotkey for entering the filter? This would be very usefull to have fast navigation on e.g. methods.

It would be great if the source outliner has a sorting feature for the class members. I like the sorting of the class designer - maybe you could implement the something similar.

I am trying to install the power toy on vs2008 and it fails during setting up visual studio environment stating that visual studio encountered a problem and needs to be restarted

COMMENTED ISSUE: Triggers IDE repaint that messes up Intellisense dropdowns

The control seems to trigger a full repaint of the IDE which in turns causes the Intellisense drop down to "go away." This happens in a project of any size.

In a VB code module for a form, type:
Protected Overrides
-- a drop down appears. If you keep typing to find the method you want the whole IDE refreshes and the dropdown disappears.

This is a "dealkiller" sort of bug.

COMMENTED ISSUE: Update hangs on "using" statements

If you use "using" statements inside the namespace declaration the SO windows hangs with "Updating, please wait...".
This simple code fails:

namespace TestSO
{
using System;

public class Class1
{
}
}

Moving the using statments outside the namespace "fixes" it.

I don't know how this could be marked as anything other than high. When this situation occurs, the power toy is simply unusable. That sounds like a "high" to me. It most commonly occurs on designer generated code, so even the relatively simple work-around of moving the using statements outside the namespace declaration isn't an option. Unusable plus no (useable) work-around doesn't justify the current impact status of "low".

I agree with this one, it will be really useful.

Another thing that could be useful is the ability to drag and drop items in the treeview to rearrange them in the code.

For me it would be nice if the regions would be considered in the tree e.g. as folders. I often have the problem that I use regions to make the code more handy by seperation it into regions. Often these regions are nested. If I use the regions in the code it is not very easy to find the structure.

I think the Source Code Outliner would be a great tool to get this regions structure better visualized. Maybe you could think about having a second view where you have the nested regions as folders and assing the Methods to the corresponding regions. If regions are within a method you could print them as subnodes of the method.

Please let me know what you think about this suggestion.

I think that addding an align button to the SourceOutlinerControl or same function to context menu: align members in treeview to 3 collections, which will help users to view and operate.
