I have installed this on an XP box and all works fine but when I tried on my Vista box it wont fire - i get this error box&lt;br /&gt;---------------------------&lt;br /&gt;Microsoft Visual Studio&lt;br /&gt;---------------------------&lt;br /&gt;The Add-in 'TFSGetLatestVersionOnCheckOut' failed to load or caused an exception.&lt;br /&gt;Would you like to remove this Add-in?&lt;br /&gt;If you choose yes, the file it was loaded from, 'C:\Users\cles2\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\Addins\GetLatestVersionOnCheckOut.AddIn', will be renamed.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Error Message: No such interface supported&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Error number: 80004002&lt;br /&gt;---------------------------&lt;br /&gt;Yes   No   &lt;br /&gt;---------------------------&lt;br /&gt;

When using VS 2003 there is a special "Adavanced Option"-Button there you can specify that VS should do a GetLatest on checkout.

I dont see this option in VS 2005, so you're right. But I'll check if the option in VS2003 has an effect to VS 2005.

This Addin is for Visual Studio 2005.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;When in VS2005 is working with Team Foundation Server, when you check out for edit it doesn't get the last version. It doesn't act like Source Safe. This thing could make some mistakes while merging and some code can disappear.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;This Addin check when you check out for edit if you have the last version, and download it.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;This is a preliminar release.&lt;br /&gt;It could have some bugs, if you discover some bug please tell me.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
