Hi Guys

Do we have any update on the Mouse Click Events. I have an requirement where i have to click on a specific Co-Ordinates on a window. Could some one let me know how to use the functions for the mouse click.

Window.Click does not accepts any parameters to it. Like X and Y co-Ordinate.

Window window = application.GetWindow("Dashboard", InitializeOption.NoCache);

window.Click();

After attempting to look at the sources in the download, I think there are either some files missing and I need to follow a differnt installation proceedure. In the WUIATestLibrary project, I think I am missing the following files:

    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\common\Input\Input.cs
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\common\Input\NativeMethods.cs
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\common\Input\SafeNativeMethods.cs
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\common\Input\UnsafeNativeMethods.cs
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\Shared\Narrator\NarratorErrorDialogs.cs
    UIVerify\WUIATestLibrary\Resources\uiverify.resources

I am also unable to see the following projects and thier corresponding sources:
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\Logging\Win7\WUIALogging\WUIALogging.csproj
    UIVerify\MSAA&UIA Tools Source Code\Logging\Win7\wuialoggingxml\wuialoggingxml.csproj

I did attempt to convert the projects and solutions for use in Visual Studio 2008.

firstly, i am very happy to see Microsoft release this framework.

i just go through the Input.cs which provide Mouse function such as click.

could you please add more complex ones, such as:
Drag(). i mean press mouse button at (x1,y1) then release at (x2,y2). because i need draw a line or create a Rectangle region in Viewport (3ds max's view port)
another thing is some time mouse action will combine with keyboard, such as Ctrl+"MouseLeft".

CREATED ISSUE: Second toolbar button for "Run selected test..." is not wokring

Thanks for your interests in UI Automation Verify tool!

There are two toolbar buttons for running test against selected Automation Element node. The second button was meant to provide an option to run test against the selection and all children, however the implementation was pulled just before we published the initial release. We want to pull back the feature to work eventually, but so far the button is not operable. We may remove the button temporary in future updates.

By writing test driver, you can still run any test against all or any portion of your Automation Element tree.

Prior to the launch, we have tested the project with VC# Express (2008), VS2008, and VS2005. What particualr issue are you having with the project? VC# Express should convert the project solution file to 2008 format when it opens.

UI Automation Verify (UIA Verify) Test Automation Framework
UIA Verify is a test automation framework that features the User Interface Automation Test Library (UIA Test Library) and Visual UI Automation Verify (Visual UIA Verify), the graphical user interface tool. The framework facilitates manual and automated testing of the Microsoft (R) User Interface (UI) Automation Provider implementation of a control or application. The majority of the UIA Verify functionality is provided through a dynamic link library (e.g., UIATestLibrary.dll) that contains the code for testing specific UI Automation functionality and supports logging of the test results.

With the Visual UIA Verify, you can quickly find and select any UI element anywhere on the desktop. Based on the specific control type and the supported control patterns, UIA Verify provides the built-in test scenarios prioritized for the particular UI element. Developers can add additional test scenarios by adding the code to the UIA Test Library. The tool can output the test results or the summary in various forms. Visual UIA Verify can output test details in HTML.

For each UI element, the available test cases are organized into three groups:

Automation Element tests -- general test cases for the selected automation element
Control tests -- test cases specific to the control type of the selected automation element
Pattern tests -- test cases specific to all patterns exposed by the selected automation element
