Pre-Alpha open source forum software.

Practically every forum system is built to look more like a spread sheet than anything to do with socialising ...Not us! Not Wadada!

Wadada is a forum implementation that is embraces Web 2.0 & Web 3.0 principles:

Designed with the user in mind, to be both intuitive and attractive.
Based on different thinking, designed from ground up to act as a data mine for both the forum owner and users
Multi lingual.

This instructions concern the installation of the pre-alpha sources only.

Requirements

ASP.NET 2.0
Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 (or equivalent Express editions)
SQL Server 2000 or 2005 or 2008

Quick Installation Steps

Create a database (call it a name of your preference)
Give ASP.NET dbo rights (in future a user creation script will be provided)
Edit the connection string in the Web.Config to suit your environment
Set up an IIS Web Application at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Wadada_WebSite_Forum

You should be good to go after this. Please post any issues you have with the installation here.
