Version 2.1 is just a small upgrade from Version 2.0. Now, to add a custom skin to the game, one doesn't need to edit any code. You must simply add an xml file (called a "skinfo"; get it? skin info?) along with the textures and when you deploy the solution the skin will be added. If you create a skin you will distribute the skinfo with it. To create a skinfo, you simply use the "Skinfo Creator", available for download below. Instructions on how to create a custom skin of your own can be found here.

If you do not wish to create any skins, you do not need the Skinfo Creator. You can still use custom skins even without it.
