Project Description
Two web parts for SharePoint 2007. One to allow users to maintain their own profile information, and the other to allow them to reset their AD password.

Active Directory Tools For SharePoint

Update 1.2 Released!

1.2 Update includes 3 new fields (mobile, pager and fax numbers) as well as new textbox width's and a smaller font that fits better in SharePoint.

*1. Active Directory Self Service
Allow users to update their own active directory profile from SharePoint

*2. Password Reset
Allow users to reset their Active Directory Password from SharePoint

Installation Notes

You must be on your SharePoint web server to install the webpart for farm or single server. This webpart will work with Portal and Services.

Run setup.exe

Now make sure the feature is activated by going to your SharePoint site and going to "Site Actions" / "Site Settings" / "Modify All Site Settings" / "Site Collection Features". If the feature Active Directory Tools is not activated, click the "Activate" button. Then it will appear in your list of webparts on any site in that site collection.

Disclaimer: These tools modify (or attempt to modify) data in Active Directory. They have been tested and verified, but the developer cannot (of course) be held responsible - use at your own risk.
