Project Description
stsadm commands for adding/removing needed web.config entries to MOSS Web Applications for ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 extensions.
After getting tired of manually following all
the steps on Mike Ammerlaan's blog for integrating ASP.NET AJAX with SharePoint 2007
, I figured that using the
SPWebConfigModification
object to add and remove the needed entries to the web.config file would be a better way to go.
Check out the
Releases
tab to download the zip file with the WSS Solution Package and WSP deployment command. Once you deploy the WSP, you can use the new stsadm commands to add/remove the AJAX entries.
Make sure you install
SharePoint Service Pack 1
and the
ASP.NET AJAX Framework
.
ASP.NET AJAX is not supported in SharePoint unless SP1 is installed
.
