Hello,

I am a hobbyist programmer and had a question about how to use the source code to help create a WPF template. I tried to view the project file in VSTO 08 standard but I get two warning messages. First, I get an error that the file location for the project is not trusted then a second error about breaking source control. After I have clicked through those messages I can see a large amount of code but no actual XAML image of the ribbon or UI. I am sure this is just my own inexperience with viewing source code but if anyone can offer some help I would greatly appreciate it.

The closure ToolWindow does not have the prompt release memory, whether is BUG?
How does BUG solve ?

No matter the Close method uses .

Project Description

Our project includes some controls and solutions to be used such a starter kit to create WPF applications including Xaml Browser Applications - XBAP. This is a beginning project and is provided "AS IS". We intend to update it constantly.

Current release includes (all unfinished):

- A simple Ribbon;
- A styled controls set (like MS Office);
- A simple floating and tabbed Windows;
- A coloration algorithm that applies to created styles.

Future decisions

We intend to implement these features:

- Improve Ribbon features to becomes like MS Office.
- Improve floating Windows features such Maximixe, Minimize.
- Improve a coloration dialog such a color picker;
- Implement transparent layer in coloration;
- Create a big styled control set;
- Create a starter kit using WCF partial trust communicating with server;
- Create a mini framework to render reports because XPS don't run in partial trust;
- For a far far away future: Docking Environment.

THIS IS A BEGINNING PROJECT AND UNAVOIDABLY CAN SUFFER ALTERATIONS OF ANY TYPE

CREATED ISSUE: ToolWindow in RTL Flow

ToolWindow does not work correctly when the FlowDirection is set to RightToLeft and you try to drag the window. There may be other issues with RightToLeft flow, too.

Hi, I am also interested in your project. However I use VS 2005 and 3.0. I am trying to make the preview work but i am not sure if i will manage to do it.

Currently the DropDownButton did not support commands for the main button.
I have modified the code and implemented ICommandSource in the DropDownHeaderButton. Do you want me to send you the code via email?

I download the July preview and open the source code with vs2008 beta2.Build succeeded,AppTest works fine.
But when I open MainPage.xaml in designer view, I got an error:

File:MainPage.xaml,Line 60,Column 41
Cannot set OverridesDefaultStyle property in the default Style.

How to fix it?I'm not familiar with WPF.

The Visual Studio Orcas Beta 2 WPF Designer is not ready and it cannot open all pages.
We must wait the final version of VS2008.

CLOSED ISSUE: ToolWindow Resizable Property

Need a way to turn off the user driven resizing.

For instance I don't want my color picker to be resized by the user, but it contains a tab control that will resize programatically.

Should disable the edge dragging and perhaps hide the indicator in the bottom right corner of the window.

It would be nice if a ToolWindow had a Center() method that would position it in the center of the ToolWindowDockPanel.

Might also want to have this called by default when the dialogs are shown.

Until then you have to use:

Assergs.Windows.ToolWindow.CloseCommand.Execute(this, null);
