Selecting a project that has no statistics publisher then clicking Recalculate Statistics will cause a System.NullReferenceException.

Choose project
click Recalculate Statistics
Open web dashboard to project and select "View Statistics"

Behavior for report.xml should be same as for statistics.cvs - if file exists, rename it to .old and create new file.
