Microsoft Public License (Ms-PL)

This license governs use of the accompanying software. If you use the software, you accept this license. If you do not accept the license, do not use the software.

1. Definitions

(B) Patent Grant- Subject to the terms of this license, including the license conditions and limitations in section 3, each contributor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license under its licensed patents to make, have made, use, sell, offer for sale, import, and/or otherwise dispose of its contribution in the software or derivative works of the contribution in the software.

3. Conditions and Limitations

(A) No Trademark License- This license does not grant you rights to use any contributors' name, logo, or trademarks.

(B) If you bring a patent claim against any contributor over patents that you claim are infringed by the software, your patent license from such contributor to the software ends automatically.

(C) If you distribute any portion of the software, you must retain all copyright, patent, trademark, and attribution notices that are present in the software.

The CRM notifications accelerator allows users to subscribe to the CRM “business events” that are significant to them, e.g. a salesperson is interested in new leads and opportunities assigned to them whereas a customer service representative is interested in new service cases assigned to them. Once the user has subscribed (each user manages their subscription profile) to the types of events that are important to them they can elect how they want these event notifications to be delivered. Notifications are delivered via a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed and can be consumed with many desktop tools including Microsoft Outlook 2007 or the standard newsfeed Windows Vista® gadget.

Please Note: This first version has been built for On-Premise only - we will re-visit IFD and other deployment models for future releases. Full source code is supplied to allow customers and partners to modify accordingly.

would be amazing if it supported firefox via ietab.... but then it would be amazing if crm supported firefox as then it could be used by mac users...

Hello, in the German version, there's problems with Ä, Ö, Ü. How can I fix it?

I LIKE THIS. Lots of clients ask for be "told" when something is over due etc - which can only be eaily achieved with a "wait" workflow - which has high overhead. One thing I Can't work out is HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE from a view?

I installed the notifications accelerator on 2 different deployments, RSS feeds worked but I encounter a huge issue: no Activity could be Saved as Completed any more. It gave me an "Invalid Argument" error page with no other clues in the logs. The solution to fix the problem:Restore CRM Database from a backup and repair the CRM Server(from add/remove programs).Did anybody encountered this pb?

This is one of the best CRM addons I have found. Using RSS and the saved views is genious. You can even modify the rss feed with some slight code modifications, so that more information is displayed for certain object types.

It's a good release, but I think it should be interesting to make subscriptions to Queues which is not possible.
