would be nice to see this written in Adobe AIR (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/air/) - who develops on PC's anymore?

Seriously?

Thanks for the tool, it's much better than the "working on" menu provided. One glitch I noticed was that I was unable to access a fogbugz site hosted on a non-standard secure port i.e. https://www.fb.com:444 but more importantly, is there any chance of getting it to change the icon so it's obvious when you're recording time and when you're not?

Java version for my linux and mac bods would be nice :-)

nort, great suggestions! I've added work items for the nonstandard port issue as well as having a different icon while recording time. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I really don't have the time to do a Java port - plus, I don't know Java - but I'd definitely help anyone willing to undertake a port if I can.

Could you make this work offline? It would be great to record this while I go out to clients and then sync when I come back in the office

I have just noticed that it looks like you filter out on recently worked on all those cases that you are not assigned to. I have a general junk case that I chuck all the administration too that is assigned to our companies virtual user. Would be good if you can look through the emails of the virtual users for the same as the login user and pick those cases up to.

@cthame - Thanks for using my app and commenting, and my apologies for the delay in responding. The primary function of this tool is to allow developers to start and stop work on a given case. The cases that are listed in the tool are intended to be a limited sampling of cases a developer is likely to be working on - I purposefully do not list *all* of a user's cases in the interest of keeping the very limited UI nice and clean, which is why the manual entry box is also provided. In other words - it was not my intent for this to be an all-inclusive case browser - Fog Creek made a very nice web UI for exactly that purpose :)

Hi Daniel,
Really handy tool and much better than the built in one. However (there's always a however in the somwhere...) I stepped into a small but unconvenient problem:
One, the datepicker you use is for the USA standards, I live in Europe and if I convert to US regional settings I not only lose the date setup but also the configuration for how Windows picks up on formats in Excel, Word etc. Can your bird be adjusted to take any regional setup?
Thanks, Barbara

+1 for "change icon when working on"
Also, could you allow to add a new case? Just a menu item to th "New Case" form would be fine - though It would be *nice* to have the new case immediately selected as "working on" (not sure if this is possible)
