We have a lot of people who are able to translate GMobileSync into different languages (other than English). Having this ability in the application (to download different language packs) would be awesome.

Multiple calendar support would be great. It syncs my primary calendar perfectly on my T-Mobile Dash (WM6/Windows CE 5.2).

I'm trying to (re)build the source using Visual Studio 2008.
The conversion did not bring up any errors or warnings.
Conversion (to 2008) completed successfull.

However, after that, I get 3 messages

GMobileSync Windows Mobile project shall reference appropriate Google libraries: referencing "Google Data API SDK\Redist" generates described errors. Try referencing "Google Data API SDK\Redist\Mobile\WindowsMobile" libs instead!

I'm having the same issue that others are reporting. Phone is a Sprint HTC touch, gmobilesync version is 1.3.5.34682.

Error: Cannot add a recipient with an empty or null name to a recipient collection.

As with the other report, the error comes up on the seventh item of 37 during the sync process then shuts down the sync.

Nope - created a dummy google account with no items in the calendar - and got the same error. Would love to see a fix or explanation for this.

Getting the same prolem in my i-mate JAMin. I wonder has it got something to do with who created the calendar items. In my example my wofe and I have our own google accounts and have a 'joint' one. We can both create items in the joint one FROM our individual ones. GMobileSync give this error on both the individual and joint ones.

Any clues as yet?

Hi aLL, I had this issue.

When i Sync my HTC touch with Gmobile i had this Error Message " NullReferenceException"

But if i change it to:
Syn Previous Days 7
Sync Future Days 7
There is no error. BUT the Calendar DID NOT update on both Gmail and HTC.

The error will appear when i set to Sync more than 14 days( Future ).

Version 1.3.5.34682
HTC Touch ( CE OS 5.2.1238 (build 17745.0.2.3 )

I have also received this error from time to time. Usually it seems to be related to a specific event. I the most recent case I had just added 1 event on my phone which seemed to be causing the error when syncing back to google calendar. I deleted the event, did a sync, then re-added the event and did another sync and it worked fine. The second time I created the event I left out the notes, maybe that had something to do with it.

Ok so it looks like they DO save if you hit "Save" but not if you hit "OK". I am running Windows Mobile 6.1

Thanks for this application.
It's just what I was looking for.
Great!

I'm using a Samsung I780 with WM 6.1, running GMobileSync version 1.3.6.
(At least... Thats what I downloaded, but the about screen says: 1.3.5.34682)

Please help me with the folowing issues:
First:
Sync seems to work allright. Both calenders are updated.
However, the sync allways ends in an error:
"Please report this error: NullReferenceExeption"

Second:
Clicking 'Options --> Settings' results in a crash.
Could this be because my phone has a square screen?

Please see the attached video for a demonstration of the errors.

Please help me to resolve this issues.

Just installed and tried GMobileSync 1.3.6 in an HTC Touch Diamond (WM 6.1). Didn't have trouble with synchronization, which seemed to work fine; nevertheless, I did experience the 'Options-->Settings' crash as reported above with the same results described (only difference was the language of the report).

Created Issue: Resets Delete G. Calendar Items

When I go through a reset on my mobile device, all my calendar entries disappear. I tried to restore them oiwht GMobileSync, but it went ahead and uploaded the "deletions" to Google Calendar. I lost all my calendar data. Is there a way for the program to only be set to do a 1-way sync at times?

Hello,

I have installed GMobileSync 1.3.5.1302 under my HTC Touch (rom 2.20.406.1b FRE).
OS windows 6 (SE CE 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2).

Install CAB with no problems.
Running app OK
Going in Credentials ok (the file c:\application Data\GmobileSync is well filled) :

When i want to go on "settings" i have an error :

GMobileSync.exe
ArgumentOutOfRangeException
System.Collections.ArrayList.insert()
at ObjectCollection.Insert()
RareEdge.frmSettings.frmSettings_Load()
System.windows.Forms.form.OnLoad()
....

same problem here, got the HTC Touch Cruise..
also, cant synchronise anymore after the first time.. get an error which i should report with the google xml link in it...
