Project Description

This is an ASP.NET 2.0 web application using standard connection components : Login, LoginView, LoginSatus, LoginName, PasswordRecovery, CreateUserWizard and ChangPassword, to manage all things concerning users's registration and authentication in your web applications. You can also create roles and manage users in roles.

You just have to put the LoginModule.NET in the same virtual directory of the application you want to manage and configure the web.config.

This project is full compatible with the data base aspnetdb.mdf new in ASP.NET 2.0.

This project is a web site accessible by IIS 6.0 and supporting Framwork .NET 2.0
Does it support framework 3.5 ? I think so.

A peace of the web.config :
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms name=".ASPXLOGIN" loginUrl="~/Member/Login.aspx" enableCrossAppRedirects="false"/>
</authentication>

You have an IIS, then behind, you have many web applications, you only need one LoginModule.NET to manage users authentification in those applications.
In your applications just use the same forms name ans set enableCrossAppRedirects to true.
Try it is amazing.

Sorry for this wery late answer.

I am sure you've find the solution by simply avoiding this code.

Otherwise you will find our reporting tool at this place :

The source code of the windows application that receive the traces is not given.
Just ask me and i will find it somewhere on my sources codes.

Hi Mabyre

This looks like a great basis for what i'm trying to acheive, but i'm getting the following error when trying to build and run the source version. Is there a hardcoded path in the TraceReporter.dll?

Last days I had used Trace="true" I was a little bit dissapointed how trace.asxd is not real time traces so using TraceReporter is much more efficient while trying optimisation of asp.net applications.

We want to release, i think many things are to be done.
Of course using 3.5 framework many be IIS 7.0 why not ?

Users wanted an international version. This is it.
Internationalization is made using framework 2.0 features, by the files labels.resx and labels.en.resx in the App_GlobalResources directory.
By clicking a button you change the language for instant 'en' or 'fr'.
We manage sitemap files by giving differents providers in the web.config.

If you want to set up and start using LoginModule.NET, you should download the (web site) project.

If you want to extend or modify LoginModule.NET, you should download the source code (sources).

Look at the Configuration file to see how simple is it to configure your web application to work with the LoginModule.NET.
