Hi, thanks for your windows service it's a great idea.

I understand almost all your code execpt the launcher. I have an HTC Diamond and each time I try to run the launcher the application run and stop whitout doing something...
I think my problem is about the installation of the manager can you give me some help about where and how install the manager and the launcher correctly.

Hello, this project is indeed a great idea, however the documentation is well shell we say, "full of opportunities" meaning it pretty much sucks. Have you been able to implement this? I cannot find an example or otherwise on how to actually make this work. Please let me know if you know. Best of luck

I think you forgot the sample in the sample.zip. There is only the ManagedServices.dll.

I'm working on a project for a smartphone running windows mobile 6.0. The executables you have provided appear to be compiled for pocketpc. I am able to recompile the library and the launcher, but you have not provided the source code for the manager. Can you provide this code?

The issue is well known. This isn't an application error, but more a bug of the architecture of the .NET Compact Framework.
As the Launcher is started at system startup. This can cause necessary APIs needed by CF aren't ready. In that case loading the application is skipped.

Workaround:
Place your Service executable in the StartUp folder.
Comments: This has been fixed with Alpha3. The issue has been a wrong value for DependXX.

I really like the hole idea of the project as also its implementation. I already change a entire application made originally as windows mobile application to work as a service using this project but i'm not able to achieve that because of a missing example of using these library.

Please, if anyone could help me on that i will appreciate. What i want to achieve is simple. I want control the service and configuration through a usual windows mobile form. Anytime the user chages some configuration of the application the form sends a message to the service and the service is updated.
