Hi there,

First of all, many thanks for that great application in MCE. Since MCE is not able to show those nice IPTC subtitles in pictures, your app saves the day! I'm looking forward to the new version! Keep it up!

But I have it running on a Vista Media Center and have some issues with that:
1. Slideshow Speed. The Slideshow runs with the standard picasa-web-speed of about 3 secs. This is rediculously fast. I assume I can set the speed under "Settings" in the main menu, but clicking on that button doesn't open any settings, nothing happens :-(
So can I acces the settings on another way? Like an .ini file somewhere?
2. Sample User. How can I delete the Sample user and add another one for a longer period. Because right now I can only add 2 albums, the third one is deleted upon restart, but sample user stays

Just to answer your question. Yes there is an API to access private albums. And this is taken into account in the redesign.

I'm currently redesigning the MCEPicassa application. In conjunction with the original owner of MCEPicassa.
When I've done the design there would definitely be enough working packages for you to work on ;-).

Created Issue: Music playback stops when starting slideshow

Somehow the music playback from the mediacenter stops when the slideshow starts.
It keeps playing until the first image is displayed. The menu's don't stop the music.
This shall be investigated.

Created Issue: opening private albums is not possible

It has to be checked whether the API of Picasa allowes the opening of a private album.
This allowes more pictures which shall be kept private to be viewed on MCE as well.

Created Issue: Slideshow stacks all displayed images

When running the slideshow it stacks all displayed images.
Going back to the main menu is a nucance this way. Prevent reopening a new page each time. This also saves resources.
I didn't try it yet but I expect that on the long run you will run out of resources.
