In the web.config I get these error's since 1.4:

i want to support developing by translating n2 to german. I have VS2005 and vs2008. What have i to do? Which files needed to be created and translated. Only resource files or code ...

Thanks for your answer.

I have implemented some custom code so more roles are allowed (you specify roles somewhat differently than me) using the Global.asax file. Now the little arrow is visibile, but nothing happens when I click it.

Any ideas? The javascript is located in the folder (since /edit/ directory is available).

ControlPanel.cs contains this code to determine it's state:

I think the sliding curtain also uses this method and it should work on its own.

Hello,

How can I determine whether the SlidingCurtain control is visible or not? In your example site, it's only visible when a user (Administrator/Editor) is logged in, but I cannot find the code where you set the control to visible or how the control itself determines whether it should be visible or not.

How can I make the SlidingCurtain control visible for Editors/Administrators? I already have code to determine whether the user is an admin or editor, I just need to know how to make it visible.

Hey,
i have declared a n2 system with one dropable zone. Now i added in the head of my masterpage some javascripts

When i called the page in n2-edit systen the drag & drop features are not working. I've tried to overwrite the preview url

but that doesen't work. I think the slimbox scripts overwrites the autoscroll-feature.

I was able to fix this by manually adding another item in the database.

I have created the database and created a template (just a Default.aspx file without code behind code, inheriting from

N2.Templates.UI.Default

I have also created a DefaultPage template (but this is not important at the moment I believe).

However, I got this error. In the installation wizard, I choose the option to use just tje Start Page (the option where you can select only one value in the combobox).

Seems I forgot to add a reference to NHibernate. I have no idea how I could forgot this :(

Anyway, I think you did a great job with this. I'm still struggling with the implementation, but I almost have converted my masterpage/default page to a template :).

Hi,
I can't remember which files they were...I will try again later today if I get the time.
I did have CastleProject installed via the msi installer. It was version 1.0 RC3.

Incidentally, kudos for the development work on N2. It is simply fantastic. I have written a new layout and am now about to start tackling a Classified Ads module.

Hi,

N2 assembly is located (and referenced in my project). Still, it cannot find the assembly:

The type name N2.Persistence.NH.NotifyingInterceptor, N2 could not be located

I have copied the files (Edit directory) to my existing website but did not include the files in my project. As soon as I navigate to mywebsite/edit/, I receive the exception above.

Do you have any idea what's wrong?

I can only agree with Martijn on everything he writes. Well put.

I'll happily accept contributions. Whenever one is included I update the list of contributors.

A core team still feels somewhat silly considering the level of activity. But it's steadily growing and who knows.

Do you have any ideas towards the direction? Some of the best features are the result of ideas received by mail and on this forum, e.g. the drag&drop, globalization and the publishing workflow.
