Does someone have the Database Schema of the MDB file so I can import it into MS SQL?

The installation and configuration is problem ridden. The database connection is not working fine when the virtual directory is different from newsletter and is outside the C:\inetpub\wwwroot.

Problem with add subscriber solution:
Substitute line 102 of Subscriber.cs:
//SqlString = String.Format(SqlString, this.Email.Replace("'", "''"), Utils.GetTimeStamp());

with

SqlString = String.Format(SqlString, this._email.Replace("'", "''"), Utils.GetTimeStamp());

Hi, when you try to add new email address you have an error in SubscriberMember because you read Email value from property

public string Email
{
get
{
return DataRow["Email"].ToString();
}
set
{
_email = value;
}
}

but the object DataRow at this point is null!

Firstly, sorry not answering your question earlier, I'm not getting any notifications of new posts. Neverthelesss...

How does one subsribe / unsubsribe automatically to this new system?
=> Each list you create has an ID, using this ID there is a form generated, in this form you can subscribe or unsubscribe.
/newsletter/subscription.aspx?ListID=XX

is there any validation to ensure against spammers? eg opt-in
=> Not an the moment, free feel to write one and I'll add it in to the project

Is there a way to display the contents of the newsletters on a summary page?
=> Well you can view each newsletter online /newsletter/viewhtml.aspx?index=XX where XX is the newsletter ID

Created Issue: Problem sendind newsletter

Hi,

I have installed the application in a server with mail service, but it does not send messages.
The web.config as localhost as smtp server.

Everithing works (subscribers, mailing lists, newsletters), but when i try to a newsletter, the progress bar turns green but the message is not delivered.

On the Manage Mailing Lists page, when attempting to delete the "newsletters" list the error below is thrown. Note that the "newsletters list is one of the items that is the database that comes with the source download

Error DbCmdExecute : The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'NEWSLETTER'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.
DELETE * FROM NEWSLETTER WHERE ID=5

CREATED ISSUE: Subscription.aspx problems

When browsing to subscription.aspx there are no format options - the radio button list is empty.
Also the unsubscribe checkbox does not have a label.

I converted the project to Visual Studio 2008, that may have caused some problems
