Commented Issue: Issue with deployment of Colored Calendar in sharepoint.

Hi,
I downloaded the zip file for deployment of colored calendar and followed the steps as in pdf file. But it was giving me some error. Please find attached the error screenshot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I am badly stuck with this issue and it is an urgent requirement.
The error is coming in the webpart that is created in the calendar when enabling the colours for calendar. Is there some problem in the url of the mapping list which i am putting or some other issue. Please help.

Ok, I managed to get my instance working again. I took the first three lines of redeploy.bat and created retract.bat. Ran that. Then removed the default entires from the color calendar mapping list. Did an iisreset/ noforce. Then ran redeploy.bat, touched the site columns for the color calendar. Seems to have done the trick. Not sure if the duplicate entries in the list caused the problem.

I have the same issue as indicated in the above post. My Colored Calendar was working until I decided to upgrade my WSS 3.0 instance from RTM to Post SP1 Hotfix (upgraded from .4518 to .6318.

The SharePoint colour calendar has been released and can be found as the most recent release. The latest installable solution file for this can be downloaded here.

Debug switcher is still available in the release history. It allows the various debug switches in web.config to be turned on on the web front end servers through the UI. The latest installable solution file for this can be downloaded here.

I installed PlanetWilson ColourCalendar just fine on one SharePoint installation, but then on the production SharePoint ran into this log trail:

Hello Wilson,

I'm a rookie in Sharepoint 2007 but I'm very interested in your calendar. I deploy the webpart in the main website and I add it to my subsite but then I get this error message:

Unable to find list "/calendrio de jogos" in site "http://sdevxx:40000/Colegio"

What does this means?

Fxed problem with other languages

Hi Mark - I have installed the feature on my moss 2007 but can't make it work. For a reason I don't know I don't have the option to create a "Colour Calendar" but only "Colour Calendar Mapping". Moreover when I try to "Enable Colour Calendar" on a existing calendar it returns the following error message: The formula refers to a column that does not exist. Check the formula for spelling mistakes or change the non-exisitng column to an existing column". Thanks in advance for your help.

Good solution, we can't synchronize these colors with the calendar colour of Outlook, but it's a good solution in many case.
