I would also like the source code for polymon RT. I have checked out the PolyMon code and am looking through that, tbut I would like to add Polymon support for my application via Powershell, but RT seems to be limited in the types of events it supports. I would be dealing with events that do not benefit from a numeric presentation.

A question: have you thought about implementing PolyMon/RT in MMC 3.0 ? It would be great to maintain that "single pane of glass" concept when monitoring and administering systems.

PolyMonRT is a real-time monitoring system that allows users to create custom dashboards.
PolyMonRT does not persist monitoring data to a database and therefore does not require a back-end database to function.
If you are looking for a monitoring system that can store monitoring data, analyze historical data and provide alerts based on flexible rules, please see PolyMon.

Are you running this script from within PolyMonRT itself or are you loading up a separate PowerShell shell?
The only way PowerShell will be aware of the $PolyMonRT object is if the powershell script was kicked off by PolyMonRT itself (i.e. you need to paste your PS script into the text box provided by PolyMonRT). PolyMonRT then executes the PS script and passes it the PolyMonRT object.

Hopefully this is the issue as I had tested this succesfully on both Vista and XP.
Let me know, otherwise maybe someone else has some ideas?

Sure,
Here's a very simple one to generate a random number and send it back to PolyMonRT:

$rand = New-Object system.random
$PolyMonRT.Counter = $rand.next(1,100)

Basically you just need to set $PolyMonRT.Counter = <some value (double type)>

Add a SQL monitor that allows running stored procedures against an MS SQL Server. Stored Procedure will require a specific signature in order to integrate with PolyMonRT.
