Project Description
The ASP.NET search controls, part of the Search Community Toolkit, provides ASP.NET developers with simple to use set of search controls (Search input and results controls) which connect to the search web service on SharePoint Server 2007, SharePoint Server 2007 for Search, Search Server 2008 and Search Server 2008 Express.

The controls provide a simple and easy way to add search capability to your ASP.NET site very quickly (and for free if you use Search Server 2008 Express) and brand the results using XSLT.

Sorry about the delay in my reply, this functionality is provided in MOSS using a webpart right now, we were not aiming to replicate all of the functionality of search server or MOSS search, so no not in the current build, however, if there is a simple way to do this with the web service interfaces that are available we can consider adding it in the future.

This is the first release of the .net controls for microsoft search technologies (MOSS, MSS and MSSX). This release comprises of the documentation, sample sites and source code. the source code will be published into source control in due course.
