Just installed your template, perfect for my many custom-lists, however if there is a way of editing the Print item template, as it displays unrelevant fields (FileLeafRef, owshiddenversion)

is this possible?

Project Description
This project contains SharePoint 2007 templates (*.stp), master pages (*.master), and web parts (*.dwp) which can be easily deployed by an end-user SharePoint site administrator with no server solution installation required.

There are lots of great SharePoint customizations that can be made using just the web interface and/or SharePoint designer. While not as powerful as features which require code deployment to the server, the advantage of these customizations is that they can be readily deployed by site administrators with no delay/hassle from IT. The goal of this project is to provide a repository of site templates (*.stp) that do interesting things. This project also maintains a SharePoint Templates web site where you can find additional information about SharePoint templates in general, demos of the templates provided here, etc.

Each template package (often includes a site template, master page, and one or more web parts), is stored as a release. All templates are based on the STS site definition (which is included by default with SharePoint) and English (LCID=1033) unless otherwise noted. The Releases section has both current and planned releases. More information on user installable web parts is available at http://www.litesuite.com and on our blog at http://www.sharepoint-templates.org/.

This is a simple facebook web part that let's you keep tabs on what is going on with your facebook friends, etc. This is handy for putting on your MySite (e.g.). Check out the demo [url:here|http://www.litesuite.com/Pages/LiteFacebook%20Demo.aspx]. It is implemented as a page viewer web part that is pointing to a page hosted on our site. You can add it to your page simply by downloading the LiteFacebook.dwp file below and adding it to your page.

The facebook api requires a callback URL that is paired with the facebook api key. So if you want to host the page on your own server, you need to get your own facebook api key which takes just a minute and is free to any Facebook user. I'm using the Print Template, very nice!! Although currency numbers are displayed with several trailing 0's (zero's).

How can I format these as $0.00?

By adding a selection check box column to a library (similar to the one available in a picture library, or in the user list), a user could select multiple documents and check in/out all of them at once. The selection check box column is available via editing the CAML of the list definition.

In general is it possible to package data form web parts + javascript like this as a *.dwp? If so, could some javascript be added to the *.dwp to query the ListID from the page header? This would only work when the web part is added to the same page as the document libary.

All templates are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0. Generally this means you can use the template for commercial purposes, but you must keep the attribution links in the template, and you can only redistribute the template or derivative works under the same license terms (e.g. you can't sell it). Note that we had to add the Creative Commons restrictions to an MIT base license because Codeplex doesn't support custom licenses.
