Ari Bakker is a senior software consultant for Australian based company Unique World. Ari has a number of years experience designing and developing bespoke ASP.NET web applications, as well as several years experience building solutions using the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 platform. During this time Ari worked on New Zealand’s first ever MOSS solution in partnership with Microsoft Consulting. This resulted in a feature-rich surveillance application for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Based on the success of this project, Ari then led the development of a MOSS-based Risk & Intervention application for the CAA. More recently Ari had a lead role in developing a metadata-driven Intranet for the New Zealand Ministry of Transport (MoT) and worked alongside Microsoft New Zealand on an Innovation Centre project to build the first E-Government compliant website using MOSS. Ari was one of the first consultants in New Zealand to gain the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – Application Development qualification and is proud to boast one of the most exciting and innovative track records in the MOSS space since its beta release in early 2006.
