I am, and will always be, a developer. It started when I was about 11 years old and my dad bought me a Commodore 64. Most of my initial professional career involved me writing applications in Visual Basic (from the initial releases up to .NET 3.5). Several years ago, Apress allowed me to translate a C# book to Visual Basic (Visual Basic 2005 Recipes). I later updated this book for Visual Studio 2008 which resulted in Visual Basic 2008 Recipes. Since then, I have been developing purely in C# (although there were a few months, recently, where I developed in Java).
When Silverlight first surfaced, I began working with it on my own time as I like the technology and I found it rather exciting. I was able to, once again, work with Apress as the Technical Reviewer for Silverlight 2 Recipes. I currently work for Berico Technologies and enjoy developing as much as I did when I was 11. When I am not working on my computers, or builing one, I am either hanging out with my family or playing the latest and greatest game on one of the systems (PC, PS3, Wii, XBOX 360, etc) in the house.
