György Balássy: University lecturer, teaching webportal development on the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Active senior member of the local MSDN Competence Centre (http://www.msdnkk.hu) having important role in evangelizing the .NET platform as a speaker, book author and consultant. Provided leadership in the foundation of the Hungarian .NET community as a key evangelist on MSDN events, technical forums and as the head of the Portal Technology Team in the MSDNCC. Regular speaker on local Microsoft and industry events presenting in-depth technical sessions on .NET, ASP.NET and Office development. Delivered the Office 2007 Touchdown training in five CEE countries in 2006 and was invited as a guest speaker to the Advanced UI Technologies Conference in Vilnius, Lithuania in December 2006. György also presented multiple times at TechEd Europe about ASP.NET and Windows Workflow Foundation. Won the Best Speaker Award in 2004, 2006 and the Most Valuable Professional Award in SharePoint and ASP.NET. Since 2005 György is the Microsoft Regional Director in Hungary.
