Lawrence Liu is a Senior Technical Product Manager and the Community Lead for SharePoint Products and Technologies at Microsoft. Lawrence's primary responsibility is to develop the strategy and execution plan for growing and advancing the SharePoint community outside of as well as inside Microsoft. His efforts are currently focused primarily on the Developer and IT Pro audiences and secondarily on the Information Worker (i.e. end user) Influencer and TDM/BDM audiences. Aptly, he drives the content for the SharePoint Team Blog and is the product group owner of the external SharePoint MVP and SharePoint Community Champions programs as well as the internal SharePoint Technical Insiders program. He also works on developing technical readiness content and technical product planning for SharePoint. His areas of expertise include collaboration and social computing, portals and application integration, enterprise content management, and knowledge management.

Lawrence has been at Microsoft for about 9 years -- 5 of which were spent as a Senior Consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services and 3 as an Account Technology Strategist in Sales before becoming a Technical Product Manager.
