Hi,
I'm a dev, living in Sweden, and I'm presently working as a software engineer in a multinational manufacturing company (forging of steel parts, mainly automotive). My job involves a lot of digging through (and presentation of) administrative data. Yes, it is boooooring!
I bought my first computer at age eight and 30 years later I'm still at it. I'm certainly not an über-geek, but I can easily lose myself in front of the screen, coding away for hours when/if get stuck on something particularly interesting or hard stuff.
As a coder, I've got my focus on quality. I have had my share of trying to maintain crap. I try to avoid producing crap as much as I can.
From the c2.com wiki: (

Always code as if the person who ends up maintaining your code is a violent psychopath who knows where you live. To this end, I'm trying to learn and relearn continuously. For the last five years or so I've been trying to introduce agile, TDD, CI and the likes at my place of work. (With mixed results, I should say. It's obviously not for everyone.)
However. My current job assignments are less than fulfilling. To be able to get high on coding again, I've decided to sign up on CodePlex to see if I could possibly contribute to some of the projects.
Now, let's start looking for those projects...
(BTW: If you happen to read this and need help, don't hesitate to contact me. If you got a job offer - even better! :-) )
