The custom policy allow administrator to define new permissions that will apply after an item addition
Installation
- stsadm -o addsolution -filename PATH\ChangePermissionAfterAddition.wsp
- Deploy the solution from your Sharepoint Central Administration
Usage
- On a list, click Settings > List Settings
- Open the link Information Management policy settings to assign a new policy
- Choose define a policy ... and click Ok
- check the new action,fill in the form and click Ok
